Intellithought is a full-service technology services provider located in Kingsport, TN. In 2016, Intellithought partnered with us to create a new website for Techni-Glass. During that process they became thoroughly familiar with our glass fabrication capabilities, so when they needed an entry piece for their new office building they came to us.
Intellithought was looking for a statement piece for their lobby. They wanted something unique and bold yet timeless and professional. We worked with them to design a piece that incorporates their logo and takes their office space to the next level while still fitting in with the existing look and feel of the lobby.
The final result is a custom cut 5×7 glass piece with their logo digitally printed in the center. The logo was printed in a translucent shade to make it stand out more, and the edges of the logo were etched to add texture. We also incorporated a mild green tint so that when light shines through the glass, the logo gives off a green glow that matches the green in their company colors. The glass piece is suspended between two metal bars, and light strips were installed in the metal bars to achieve the green glow.
