Techni-Glass recently received their Insulating Glass Certification, certifying that their production of Aluminum Spacer/Polysulfide and Superspacer/Hot Melt Butyl complies with applicable requirements and test standards (ASTM E2188, ASTM E2189, ASTM E2190, ASTM E2649, ASTM E546 & CGSB 12.8).

What Does It Mean to Be Insulating Glass Certified?

This certification helps ensure that Techni-Glass’ insulated glass products are durable, safe, functional, and structurally sound. It provides buyers with quality assurance that Techni-Glass’ insulated glass products have been tested by an independent laboratory and will perform to the level reflected by these test standards.

Techni-Glass’ products were certified through the National Accreditation and Management Institute, Inc. (NAMI). NAMI’s Insulating Glass Certification Program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute and the International Accreditation Service as meeting the requirements of ISO/IEC Guide 17065 and ISO/IEC 17020. This certification program is additionally recognized by the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Association for sealed insulating glass.
