At its last meeting, the Hawkins County Industrial Development Board announced that they would be selling 7.1 acres of land to Techni-Glass, which has merged with AROW Global. They initially plan to invest $3 million to construct a 30,000 to 50,000-square-foot building, $5 million in equipment, and employ an additional 20 employees.
Arow-Global Corp. has operated in Canada and US since 1965 and is the leading manufacturer of mass transit bus windows in North America. Arow-Global also designs and builds custom driver protection systems.

This will be the 7th expansion for Techni-Glass since its inception in 1997. IDB chairman Larry Elkins told the Rogersville Review that the terms of the agreement require the project to be completed within three years.
